Broadcaster of the Year

The WAB Broadcaster of the Year Award is presented to an individual broadcaster who has made a significant contribution to our industry. More specifically, the broadcaster so honoured
will have:

• Demonstrated extraordinary leadership within his or her field
• Developed and maintained a forceful and positive image for broadcasting in general
• Acted as a spokesperson for broadcasters outside his or her normal scope of operations

Only individuals from WAB member stations can be considered for this award, and only WAB members can submit nominations. Each entry must include a written submission specifying the candidate's qualifications based on the award criteria. Supporting photos, CDs and/or DVDs should also be submitted.

The WAB Broadcaster of the Year receives an engraved plaque.
